West Sussex Council branded ‘bad’ by Demos for disability cuts. 

The think-tank Demos published a report on 12th September 2011 which found the current level of cuts as ‘very high’ and the coping level as ‘bad’ in West Sussex. The report rated West Sussex Council one of the bottom ten councils for the overall coping score with cuts to disability services coming 143rd out of a possible 152 councils.  According to Demos findings there has been a 19.41% budget change to older peoples care by West Sussex council.
